We are raising funds to support our long-standing\, fierce advocacy for the LGBTQIA+ population\, our Sack Lunch Program\, and our Crisis Intervention Ministry. You can purchase tickets here. We are kicking off Pride Month a week early with acclaimed LGBTQ Comedy Talent Leah Mansfield\, Danielle Perez\, and Heather Thomson! \nIf you can’t make it to this Saturday’s show\, but still want to support the cause\, you can purchase a ticket for someone else! As you know\, there are many in our community for whom a ticket would be a hardship\, but who would love to attend. If you purchase a ticket and text 323-793-9059 to let me know it’s available for someone in need\, we’ll make sure it gets to someone who will enjoy it. SUMMARY:Sack Lunch Program Has Been Relaunched!
DESCRIPTION:  \nThank you\, everyone\, for all the donations and hard work that relaunched the Sack Lunch Program. Our goal was to assemble 24 sack lunches\, and last Sunday we assembled 52! Take a look at the photos from this awesome program below. We have already begun distributing the bags to people coming to the church needing a meal. Some have come as Sunday visitors\, some have rung our bell this week and asked specifically for a sack lunch\, and some have been given to homeless folks who attend our 12-step meetings in the evenings. Church members are also encouraged to keep a sack lunch in their vehicle in case they encounter someone in need of a meal when they are out and about. We will be continuing to accept donations and assemble bags on a rolling basis throughout the year\, so it’s not too late to donate! You can also always donate electronically to the Sack Lunch Program here.
