Dear friends in Christ,
In honor of our new Trans Support Group, this Sunday I will preach on trans folk in the
Bible. Yes, they exist. Yes, God loves them. Mark has arranged for special music along
this theme. Right now there is so much fear in our neighbors and community because of
hateful legislation and rhetoric, it behooves us to remind us of God’s promise, God’s
inclusive community, Christ’s message, and our call to love. If you’ve ever wondered
what the Bible says about trans folk, or if you just want to come and show your support,
this Sunday’s worship service is for you.
After worship we will have Bible Study and will be studying the passage where Jesus
talks about same-sex relationships, and it’s all positive.
Please join us as we dig deep into scripture and celebrate our diverse neighborhood.
