Bible Study: The Clobber Texts

Please join us for an intensive Bible Study in which we study the passages most commonly used to disenfranchise the LGBTQ+ community. These passages are often quoted, traditionally legislated, and regularly weaponized. Have you ever wondered if they really mean what we are told? If so, why does it matter?

In this series will delve deeply into eight passages most commonly associated with the issue of homosexuality and the Bible. When put into their proper context, we find that these passages have surprising meanings and new messages of hope for us today. Light refreshments will be provided. Feel free to brown bag your lunch or bring something to share if you would like. Bring your own Bible if you have one, extras will be available to borrow.
