Dear friends in Christ,
We will be celebrating Pride Sunday, June 7, with full festivities. Mark has prepared
special music and we encourage you all to wear rainbows to worship. We will be
studying a piece of scripture from the Psalms that describes dancing amidst chaos, a
defiant and revolutionary act.
We will not gather for Bible Study this Sunday, June 7 because I am assuming most
folks will be off at the WeHo Pride Festival on Sunday afternoon. We will resume Bible
Study on Sunday, June 14th following worship when we begin to discuss the Kin-dom of
God that is described in the book of Revelation, but also throughout the entire Bible.
God promises it, Jesus talks describes it in parables and gives clear and specific
instructions on how to get there, and the book of Revelation describes it in bright,
technicolor detail.
We will look forward to seeing you there!
