Dear friends in Christ,

A happiest of New Year’s to you all! Traditionally, the Twelve Days of Christmas reflect the day the Magi arrived at Jesus’ manger bearing gifts. This is Epiphany, which we will be celebrating this Sunday, January 4. The story of the Magi following the star is an interesting study in political intrigue and grass-roots organizing. Their arrival sets in motion a series of events that affect not just one, but at least four nations. Please join

us this Sunday as we see how this bold journey and even bolder act still holds lessons for us today.

After worship we will be taking down the Christmas decorations and ask for everyone to stay and help.

The youth will be shopping for the Sack Lunch Program after worship this Sunday, and if your youth would like to participate, please call or text Pastor Tracy at 323-793-9059.
