Dear friends in Christ,

The Bible is filled with images of God and Christ as shepherd. This Sunday we will be reading one that speaks of God as the Good Shepherd and as a refuge. But it is embedded in a psalm, and the psalms were written under wildly tumultuous circumstances. Despite all that was going on, the psalmist insists that God will come through for the people.

Please join us this Sunday as we learn about ancient methods for maintaining hope under fire, and how it shapes our faith today.
