Dear friends in Christ,

The Leviticus passage regarding “if a man lays with another man” is as familiar as it is misused against the LGBTQ+ community. What people often miss are the passages immediately before and after this passage, which gives a very different perspective on what God was forbidding and so angry about. This Sunday we will take a look at this scripture from its original perspective. You may be surprised to learn why it’s in there and what it really forbids.
