Dear friends in Christ,

I hope this note finds you all well as we begin the new year together. In the Christian calendar, Christmas lasts until January 6, the twelfth day after Christ’s birth, when the magi came to deliver gifts. So this Sunday we will be reading about the magi following the star and the enormous amount of political upheaval they caused on their journey.

After worship I am planning to take down all of the beautiful Christmas decorations in the church and pack them away for next year. I will be grateful for anyone who is willing to help me.

I want to take a moment as we start the new year to thank everyone for all their hard work, love, prayers, and donations in 2024. We accomplished a lot, and we did it together. I am looking forward to 2025 with all of you.
