Please Welcome Our Special Guest Preacher Rev. Teogenes Tawagon.

Rev. Teogenes Tawagon is a graduate of Silliman University Divinity School, Dumaguete, Philippines. He majored in counselling and pastoral ministry with a degree of Bachelor of Theology.

Teo’s church/pastoral ministry began in 1996 with the United Church of Christ in the Philippines. In 2005 Teo migrated here in the United States through his wife’s employment visa. In 2007, he decided to seek ecclesiastical standing and serve the United Church of Christ.

Currently holding a ministerial standing with the Eastern Association of the Southern California Nevada Conference – UCC, Teo serves as Pastor and founding minister of the Moreno Valley Faith Community UCC since 2014.

Aside from serving the church, Teo also works as a full time Hospice Chaplain and Bereavement Coordinator for 11 years now, in various hospice care offices.

He is also an active member of Pacific Islander Asian American Ministries (PAAM) of the United Church of Christ.

Teo is married to Joy Tawagon, and they have two children: Wil, and Cara. Presently, Teo and family are members of the Faith Community United Church of Christ. They are presently worshiping with First Congregational UCC in Perris.
