Suggestions for Plaque in memory of Rev. Dan Smith

Measurements:

Option 1              9 inches tall x 11.5 inches wide.

Option 2              14.5 inches wide x 19 inches tall.

Wording:

Option 1              “In honor of our former Pastor and Leader, Dan Smith” – “I will bless you and you shall be a blessing to others” (Genesis 12:2)

Option 2              “In memory of Rev. Dan Smith – Pastor, Counselor, Visionary, and much more. Throughout your years of steadfast service, you stood as a prophet calling for justice: For the poor, the outcast, and anyone marginalized by society. You were the caring Pastor to the LGBTQIA community and those living with HIV.

We will remember you with grateful hearts.

In the words of the song of justice – “We will walk hand in hand again someday.”

Option 3              Purchase an outdoor bench with an engraving to honor our late Pastor.

Option 4              Consider granting Pastor Smith the title of: PASTOR EMERITUS.

Option 5              Plant a tree in Pastor Smith honor on the grounds.

Option 6              Two people agreed about the bench idea and/or perhaps attach a plaque on one of the benches we have now.

Option 7              Set up a scholarship in his name.

Option 8               Have a G Clef symbol or another musical symbol on the plaque since Dan was a musician.
