Dear church members,
The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health is relaxing their indoor mask mandate for those who are fully vaccinated (two mRNA shots and one booster, or one J&J shot and one booster) starting Friday. We plan to align with the new policy as soon as possible.
Once the church reopens to all in March, we’re asking those who are interested in entering the sanctuary without a mask to show their vaccination record and ID to usher Tom Droney, who will verify the documents and make a note by their name. Once verified, they will not need to show their vaccination records for future visits.
Of course, some people may still prefer to wear a mask inside church, regardless of their vaccination status. For this reason, the church will not take masking indoors as an outward sign of vaccination status. Those who don’t have proof of full vaccination must continue to wear a well-fitted mask, preferably a KN95 or better, inside the church, as mandated by California health orders.
We will continue to keep the doors open and fans running during service, and will also continue to have the sanctuary cleaned before every Sunday. We also kindly ask that those with symptoms of illness, or with recent confirmed contact with a covid-positive person, stay at home instead of attending church in person.
