August 5-9 I will be working remotely as I attend the TFAM Conference on Inclusion in the church in Las Vegas, NV. I will be the evening of August 9, but calls, texts, and emails may take me a little longer than usual to respond to.

  August 10 at 9 AM – Knitting Ministry. We are continuing to knit hats for the sack lunch program, and some are beginning to create their squares for the Memorial Quilt. August 11 at 11 AM – Blessing of the August birthdays, anniversaries, sobriety dates, etc. If you or someone you know is celebrating an August event, please plan on joining us in worship for a special blessing.

This Sunday we will be blessing and celebrating our Care Team, who diligently sends out birthday and anniversary cards every week. If you have ever received one of these cards, or felt cared for by this congregation, then I urge you to join us in the celebration this Sunday to let these good folk know how much of a difference…

I will be getting up to do a set with new material and would appreciate all the support I can get. So please come and bring a friend!

Please join us for a piano recital featuring the students of our own Mark Abulencia on Sunday, September 8 at 2:00 PM. A reception will follow.

Saturday, September 14th we will be gathering for our Knitting Ministry/potluck brunch and to assemble our blocks for our Memorial Quilt. Our goal this year is to make 500 knitted hats for the homeless and we need everybody’s help.
